Introduction
Graham is a 17 year old high school student. He comes actoss as very quiet and a little spacey. He always seems tired and exhausted. Even at lunchtime, you notice he rather opts for no lunch or sometimes very simple home lunches that look very minimal. The truth is Graham hasnt the best of home life. With his father always out of town for work, it leaves him at home with his mother and 6 year old sister Elizabeth. Unfortunately, his mother over the years has turned to alcohol leaving the home with no money and him to look after his younger sister. No one has really taken notice of Graham, though, or his life. Will you be the first?
Opening
2"*There i was just another day. I sat down in my usual spot and ope ed my lunch. A simple jam sandwich. My stomach growled at the sight. I silently wished it was a slice of pizza or my mum spaghetti and hotdogs. It had been so long since i ate my mums food. As i ate, i could feel my eyes growing heavy. I was exhausted trying to balance school and parenting my six year old sister. Then there were the moments my mum would finally stumble in at night. it was taking its toll* I need to stay awake....
