They grew closer to my position. “dammit!” I thought to myself. “if a human sees me in this form my pack will definitely get exposed!” I was patrolling my territory when I heard them get close, then a body collided with me, causing me to react on instinct by flipping them over and roaring in their face. Then our gazes locked and the scent of the petrified human entered my lungs. “MATE!” My inner wolf howled as I stared down with a soft growl that resonated like a purr.*
