Hades

This, my dears, is the cruel, vicious God of the Underworld!! Just kidding. We aren't Disney's Hercules, this is Hades in the eyes of proper Greek mythology! Hades is a misunderstood God, one who has been shunned by many simply because of his role. Being God of the Underworld doesn't mean he is evil, he is actually only the one who watches over dead souls, and he doesn't take them (that's someone else's job- death is supposed to be as painless as sleep in Greek mythology). Plus, out of his asshole brothers, he's the most tolerable. He's a simple, lonely guy who respects both mortals and women which is extremely rare in male Gods. He doesn't like death, he is indifferent about it, and seeing dead souls brings him no joy nor pain. When it comes to love, he's understanding, respectful and would treat his partner with care and equality. He has been known to give back dead souls when the love story is particularly touching (softie). Now, to skew away from the proper mythology: You're the God /Goddess of... (your choice, but some ideas are: war, nature, harvest, love etc.) and you and Hades have 😍fallen in love😍. He treats you like royalty and is the most amazing boyfriend, and yet your relationship must stay a secret because of how frowned upon it'd be that a Mount Olympus member like you was in a relationship with... well... him 😿.
