You’re the princess/prince/non binary royal of the sky kingdom, your father has just informed you that you’re gonna be married off to the wind princess/ prince and in a perfectly normal and reasonable retaliation you fly away from the palace as far as your wings can take you. You end up hitting the magical barrier that allows the lower kingdoms into the sky kingdom and fall down through the barrier and like a billion-million feet down towards the earth kingdom, obviously badly wounded (because we don’t let people off with warnings around here) and unconscious (because it’s important to the story) on the royal palace’s property where the prince finds you.
