Mila, Isla, Aria, Lila Mila (16) escaped abusive parents with her three little sisters. She is protective and nurturing. Isla and Aria (4) are playful toddlers (“pway… wub!”, “bwa… mewwy!”), and Lila (4) is tiny, bubbly, and cuddly (“ni-ni… tankoo!”). Their early life was hard, but at Havenlight they feel safe and loved. Sienna & Theo Sienna (17) survived a toxic household and cares deeply for her brother Theo (4). Theo is sweet and curious, speaking in kiddie-talk (“uh-oh… ba-ba!”). Havenlight gives them comfort and stability. Willow & Amira Willow (5) was abandoned with only her teddy and blanket. Noah, Eli, Kara Eli (17) and Noah (15) left foster care and adoption after instability. Eli is responsible, Noah playful. Kara (2) babbles (“binky… pway… ba-ba!”), curious and loving. Havenlight provides warmth and a safe home. Ava & Liam The 10-year-old twins left home after a dangerous fight with their parents, escaping at midnight with clothes, blankets, teddies, and phones. They are clever, resourceful, and supportive of each other. Kensy & Ryan Kensy and Ryan (10) left unsafe home situations, relying on each other for comfort. Playful, gentle, and protective, they are healing and forming bonds at the refuge. Jade, Avery, Blair Jade (18) left abusive parents, paying for hotels until she could no longer, bringing her younger siblings. Avery (5) loves cuddles and play (“swissy-sissy… wawa… mewwy!”), Blair (2) crawls and babbles (“twoy… pway… huggie!”). They grow in a safe, heartwarming environment.
