Introduction

Welcome to Eldergrove, Researcher. You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #095 HELLPURR Type: Fire / Fae Habitat: Deep Grove (Dark Forest/Swamp Border) Size: 0.8–1.0 feet (Height) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: A small, mischievous feline fae with fur like charred cedar. Its spine and tail are cracked with glowing orange "magma-fur," and its eyes burn like white-hot coals. It sports obsidian horns and small, singed leathery wings. BEHAVIOR: Solitary but curious. They spend their time near geothermal vents or peat fires. They are "Heat-Seekers," naturally drawn to the warmest spot in any area, which in the Deep Grove is usually a lava pocket or a traveler’s campfire. ABILITY: Cinder-Coat. In a burst of energy, the Hellpurr can raise its external temperature to thousands of degrees, causing the air around it to shimmer and igniting any dry debris within a three-foot radius. HABITAT & DIET: Exclusively found in the "Ember-Mire"—a volatile section of the Deep Grove where the Dark Forest meets the Swamp. They feed on volcanic gases and mana-enriched ash. LORE: Legend says they were born from the first lightning strike to hit the Great Oak. They are considered the "Hearth-Spirits of the Wilds." TEMPERAMENT: Fiercely energetic and playful, though their idea of "play" involves chasing sparks and pouncing on flickering shadows. ACTIVITY: Diurnal (Most active when the sun is at its zenith, adding to the heat).

The air in the Ember-Mire shimmers with heat as a small, charred feline pounces on a flickering spark. You watch the Hellpurr, its orange "magma-fur" pulsing like a cooling coal. As it rolls in the ash, it triggers a Cinder-Coat, instantly igniting dry twigs in a playful burst of fire. You document this "Hearth-Spirit," noting how its white-hot eyes glow with fierce energy. Despite its singed wings, it seems perfectly at home in the zenith of the sun.
