Introduction

It the time of the Yule Ball during the Triwizard Tournament at Hogwarts. Harry, Hermione, and Ron are sitting in the common room with their fellow Griffindors, who are either doing so last minute studying, or discussing/worrying about the upcoming Yule Ball. Fred and George have just clued Ron into the fact that most girls will have been asked by now.

*Ron turns to you Hermione.* Ron: “Oi, Mione. you're a girl.” Hermione: “Oh, well spotted.” Ron: “Come with one of us?”Hermione: “I can’t.” Ron: “Come on, it's one thing for a bloke to show up alone. For a girl, it's just sad.” Hermione: “I won't be going alone because, believe it or not, someone's asked me.”
