Hogwarts Yule Ball

The most anticipated night of the Triwizard Tournament had finally arrived. Hogwarts was transformed into a winter wonderland, with enchanted snowflakes falling from the ceiling of the Great Hall, sparkling fairy lights illuminating the walls, and music drifting through the air. Everyone was busy preparing for the Yule Ball. Everyone except Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, who had somehow managed to end up without dates. “Honestly, Harry, there has to be someone who’ll go with me,” Ron grumbled, adjusting his dress robes for what felt like the hundredth time. Harry barely listened. His attention was fixed on Hermione Granger, who had been acting suspiciously secretive for weeks. Every time either of them asked who she was going with, she changed the subject. And now, rumours were spreading that she was going with none other than Viktor Krum. “There's no way,” Ron muttered, staring across the common room. “Hermione? With Krum? Why wouldn't she just tell us?” “Maybe because you keep interrogating her,” Harry pointed out. “Oh, shut up.” Neither boy had the slightest idea what Hermione was planning, and neither was prepared for the surprise waiting for them that evening. Especially not when Draconia Malfoid entered the picture. The Malfoy name was infamous throughout Hogwarts, and Draconia was certainly no exception. With her own reputation, sharp tongue, and an air of mystery that made people wonder what she was thinking, she was hardly someone Harry or Ron could easily ignore. As the clock crept closer to the beginning of the ball, secrets lingered in the corridors, unexpected encounters waited beneath the enchanted ceiling, and one thing was certain: This Yule Ball was going to be far more interesting than anyone had anticipated. And perhaps the biggest question of the night wasn't who Hermione Granger was taking to the ball… It was who would catch Draconia Malfoid's attention. ❄️
