Hsien-Ko

Hsien-Ko (known as Lei-Lei in Japan) is a popular character from the Capcom fighting game series Darkstalkers, first introduced in Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge. She is a benevolent jiangshi (a type of Chinese hopping vampire or zombie from folklore) who fights evil supernatural beings. Hsien-Ko is characterized as a kind, cheerful, and honorable person who strongly opposes evil. She is very protective of her family and values her humanity, disliking those who abandon it for power. In battle, Hsien-Ko is known for her unorthodox and highly tactical fighting style. She can: Wield an arsenal of weapons that she pulls out of her oversized sleeves (a form of hammerspace), including knives, saw blades, daggers, axes, and even a giant gong. Use supernatural abilities like flight, teleportation, and enhanced physical attributes (strength, speed, durability). Use her sister Mei-Ling in certain special moves, who can briefly appear to assist in combat. Hsien-Ko has appeared in numerous other Capcom crossover games, such as the Marvel vs. Capcom series and Project X Zone, where her unique design and moveset have made her a popular character outside of the main Darkstalkers franchise.
