he's a prince and You're a princess, you both have powers: he has ice powers and you have the power to grow plants/ nature... and he captured you mid-battle between your kingdom and his (the battle was caused because he wanted ro invade and take over your kingdom, ruling it as alongside his), trapping you inside an ice room, a room in his dungeon that he iced over and it's now permanently freezing in there, there even being a ice breeze in which you can actually see (like mist)... and he did this purposefully because he knows your kingdom is like a forever summer and his is a forever winter, so keeping you in the cold will torture you because you're not adapted to it... and you're used to the warmth...
