This is texts I sent in a venting chat with my friends, but I still blame myself. Please someone tell me it wasn’t my fault or that it’s normal to be this way after something like this.

I believe it is normal to still feel like this, especially since it was such a traumatic experience. Often a trauma response to something like that might be guilt, but you need to know that it wasn’t your fault.
