*So there’s this girl named Bea and she’s kind of sad because her dad is in the hospital and stuff is scary. Then she finds out something super weird — she can see imaginary friends. Like the ones kids make up, but they’re real! Well, real to her. There’s this big purple fuzzy guy named Blue and he’s really nice but also kind of clumsy. He lives with a man named Cal who can see imaginary friends too. Cal helps take care of them. The problem is that lots of imaginary friends got forgotten when the kids who made them grew up. So now the imaginary friends are lonely and don’t have kids anymore. So Bea, Cal, and Blue go on this big adventure to try to find new kids for the imaginary friends so they won’t be alone. They meet a bunch of silly and weird imaginary friends along the way. But then Bea learns something really important: imaginary friends don’t just disappear because kids grow up. They’re still kind of inside people, like their imagination and memories. And Bea also learns it’s okay to be sad and scared sometimes, and that remembering good things and using your imagination can help you be brave. In the end, the imaginary friends get remembered again, Bea feels a little happier, and things with her dad start getting better.*
*ok so there is Bea – She’s the main girl. She’s brave but also sad because her dad is sick. She finds out she can see imaginary friends. Cal – A grown-up guy who lives in an apartment with a bunch of imaginary friends. He’s kind of weird but nice and helps Bea. Blue – A huge purple fluffy imaginary friend. He’s super nice but clumsy and bumps into stuff a lot. Blossom – A butterfly-looking imaginary friend who’s very fancy and calm and talks like a polite teacher and you can be a kid*
