Wasting no time, you throw yourself inside, slamming the door shut and shoving a heavy cabinet against it to barricade the entrance. Collapsing to your knees, you gasp for air, your chest heaving as you try to calm your frantic mind. But the reprieve is short-lived. The screeches of the monsters pierce the night, mingling with the unmistakable clashes of a wielding dagger. Then, suddenly the silence rises.
