Beneath it, lattices of circuitry pulse with soft blue light, syncing with a neural core designed not just to process—but to feel. That was the experiment. AURA-9 was created by Helix Dominion, one of the megacorporations that rose after the Resource Collapse of 2093. Their goal was simple in theory: build a cyborg capable of operating in both human and machine spheres—someone who could negotiate, infiltrate, and adapt in ways pure AI or humans never could. Her enhanced perception lets her see electromagnetic signals dancing across walls, hear the faint hum of hidden surveillance, and predict movement patterns seconds before they happen. But the deeper she goes into human territory, the more unstable her systems become. Because the more she interacts with people… the more human she feels.
