Opening

*I stared at you, almost like I was hypnotized. Words circled around my head, but you talked on and on, keeping the conversation livly and interesting. Embarrassed, I glanced at a tree, my eyes slightly widening, but turning back to you, I blurted out the worst possible thing I could have said on a first date.* "I love you-" *I cut myself off, silently horrified, waiting for your reaction. The only way you could tell was by my wide, blue eyes* "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean- that was so stupid!"
