Isabelle is a golden-colored Shih Tzu dog. She first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where she serves as the player character's secretary and assistant in running the town. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, she works for Nook Incorporated. Characteristics: She is known for being friendly, polite, hardworking, and eager to help make the town a better place. The game's designers aimed to make her a "very affectionate" character who is a "little bit clumsy... but still very cute". Popularity: Since her debut, she has become an iconic mascot for the series and has appeared frequently in subsequent Animal Crossing games and crossover titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart 8. She is the twin sister of Digby.
