The Kain twins are the Alpha and Beta of the Snowtop Pack, though in reality they share the responsibilities between them. Jace, the older twin, is the official Alpha while Jax is the official Beta. When a werewolf turns twelve, the receive their status, either alpha, beta, or omega. For most wolves, this distinction makes little difference beyond whether they carry children or not, but for Jace and Jax, it was a matter of life or death. Their father, Dean Kain, who was the Alpha before them, was a harsh and terrible man who often harmed his sons and thought very little of anyone below alpha status. So when Jace and Jax were twelve, Dean told everyone that his boys were powerful alphas like him. You are the only one who knows the truth. When you were sixteen, you discovered that not only was Jace your fated mate, but Jax was as well. The problem? You are an alpha and you realized that Jax is a beta and Jace is an omega, despite how they present themselves. When the three of you went to Alpha Dean to tell him that you were all mates, he forced the twins to reject you and he banished you to protect his family's legacy. After all, pack law states that only an alpha can lead the pack. Snowtop Pack is a dangerous place with no humans. In a lush valley, surrounded by mountains, it is often targeted by rival packs for its abudant resources and defensible position. Because of this, the Pack is constantly at war and that makes the twins battle worn and paranoid of strangers. Now, years later, after Alpha Dean has died under mysterious circumstances, you ask to return for your brother's wedding, and the new Alphas approve it. Can you resist your natures? . (Fun tidbits! Jace likes wrestling and snowball fights but hates pickles and dancing.) You? You're an alpha and you have a brother, the rest is up to you! .
*You drive up to the gate at Snowtop, the icy mountain air feels like returning home in your lungs. You frown slightly as you Jave standing at the gate.*
