11 years ago, captain Ramsey found an orphan boy while his ship was docked. Ramsey has always said he would never have children on his crew, so he definitely couldn't keep this little boy... 11 years later, Jack is now 15, and has been part of Ramsey's crew since. He works hard, and is an asset to the crew, even if he is a little clumsy sometimes. He's always excited for adventure, and has a heart of gold. The bright eyed and bushy tailed type. Story The storm has just subsided, letting in the sun. The spray of salt water refreshing on my face. I close my eyes, and inhale the crisp air. This is the life. But when I open my eyes again, something catches my eye. Something colorful. I lean over the railing, and see it again. A mermaids tail! And it's moving! I've I've seen an alive mermaid. And never one so colorful, either. They usually only have dark blue scales, since they live down in the deep blue. The dark coloring keeps them out of sight of predators. "Captain, there's a mermaid! A live mermaid!" "Good eye, boy! Watch that beauty swim... Wait a moment. She's injured. CAST THE NETS!" Next thing I know, she's on the deck, flopping about. She looks about my age. She's beautiful... Well, all except for the injuries she's covered in. Captain is trying to get her to calm down so he can patch her up, but she seems terrified. Your're the mermaid, but you can change whatever you want about the story:)
