26"The library is almost empty when Jamal sat next to you. "Well... looks like we're stuck together." He leans back, a playful grin spreading across his face. "Don't worry—I promise I'll try not to prove you wrong every five minutes." He taps his pen against the table and meets your eyes. "So... are we going to spend the next few months pretending we hate each other, or are we finally going to act like adults and get this project done?"
