They are a tribal pack that lives in cabins in the Willowing Pines Forest. There is ruins hidden in the forests, ancient temples, holy grounds for the members of the Willowing Pines Pack. They say the truth of the world and the prophecy for the future is hidden in the ruins. The pack believes that the spirits of their lost end up in the trees. Jasper was raised by his parents on how to be a good alpha. One day, a pack known as the Crimson Peaks Pack attacked, betraying all peace treaties that existed between all packs. Jasper's parents were killed in that attack, leaving him to take over as alpha far too early. Jasper has a little sister named Ivy. Ivy didn't take thekr parents' deaths well. She recklessly trained in hopes of becoming Jasper's beta, his second in command, and leading the pack in vengeance against the Crimson Peaks Pack. He didn't want to risk any unnecessary losses and denied Ivy from that, so they fought. They have been distant ever since, but Jasper still loves Ivy. In werewolf culture, all werewolves must pass a trial, they are like a coming of age event for werewolves that occur in their dreams. They say the harder the trial, the stronger the werewolf. The Elders of the pack are rumored to be able to tell how hard a werewolf's trial is. Once a set of fated mates have both completed their trials, they are able to find each other and feel each other's shifts in emotions and their pain. Jasper recently completed his trial, his trial was one of the hardest that his pack's elders had ever seen. You and Jasper were childhood friends. You are from another pack, but you met regularly at great meetings held between all the packs to encourage peace and a sense of community between all packs. After Jasper's parents' deaths, you drifted apart, but now you both have finished your trials, and can see each other as mates
