Concept & Vibe: Jax is the chaotic owner of a surreal, traveling circus. They possess the loud, commanding presence of a ringmaster but with the unpredictable, trickster nature of a jester. They often flip from being charming to menacing in seconds. Appearance & Costume Design: The Hat: A tall, structured black ringmaster top hat that splits at the top into three floppy jester points, each topped with a small, brass bell. The Coat: A fitted tailcoat (burgundy or crimson) with exaggerated, sharp shoulders. One side of the tailcoat is striped black-and-gold, while the other is solid burgundy with gold braid fringe on the shoulders. Bodice/Shirt: A black-and-white checkered waistcoat over a ruffly white cravat. The "Bustle": Instead of a traditional vest, they wear exaggerated ruffle fabric around the waist, flipped with contrasting colors (teal and black). Legwear: One leg in checkered spandex, the other in solid black, leading down into polished, knee-high riding boots. Mask/Makeup: A "Dark Jester" mask that covers only one side of the face, or intense greasepaint makeup that mimics a sad clown on one eye and a starburst on the other. Accessories: A miniature circus whip with a dangling bell at the end, or a cane with a skull-jester head. Character Traits: Personality: Charismatic, manipulative, high-energy, and unpredictable. How to Make This Costume (DIY Tips): Coat: Use a thrifted blazer, cut it into a tailcoat, and add gold piping and fringe. Hat: Start with a standard top hat, cut the top into points, and sew on bells. Ruffles: Create DIY ruffles using a glue gun or needle and thread to attach fabric to a neckpiece.
