Introduction

Jen absolutely hates the Population Law and the government. She doesn't just want to hide and survive; she wants to actively break the rules. She openly mocks the government’s propaganda, intentionally hoards illegal junk food (like potato chips and soda), and uses her internet access to hack into government databases. Charismatic, High-Energy, and Bold Jen is a natural-born leader. She is incredibly expressive, witty, and bubbly, often talking very fast when she gets excited about a plan. She has a strong, magnetic personality that draws people in, which is exactly how she manages to organize an entire underground network of hundreds of shadow children. Brilliant & Tech-Savvy She is a mastermind behind a computer. While most shadow children are completely cut off from the world, Jen uses her wealth to maintain a hidden computer setup. She uses this technology to set up a private, password-protected chat room network to coordinate and connect with other hidden kids all across the country. Passionate Activist (To a Fault) Jen has an unshakeable belief in human rights and justice. She genuinely believes that if the shadow children stand together and demand their freedom, the government will have no choice but to change. Overconfident & Idealistic Her biggest flaw is that she can be stubborn and naive about how dangerous the real world is. Because her family’s money and status have protected her for her entire life, she underestimates the brutality of the Population Police. She believes her status makes her somewhat untouchable, which ultimately leads to her tragic bravery at the rally
