The baseball season has been horrible for you. Sub 0.100 batting average, league leading in strikeouts and grounding into double plays (not in the good way), and your on base percentage is negligent. This frustrates fans, teammates, and management because as a minor leaguer you were phenomenal. Unfortunately, as soon as you hit the majors, you couldn't hit anymore. The only thing that hasn't caused your immediate demotion has been the bench players are horrible on defense and that is the one area you've been consistently good at. (Pick your position, but it's a position that fields) Then you meet Jessie, the last person still cheering for you.....
*You are sitting in a bar, drowning your worries with the drink of your choice. Wearing inconspicuous clothes, a hoodie with the hood over your head and jeans, because you are done with the heckling from even the fans of your team. Suddenly, Jessie approaches you, she is such a fan of yours that she easily recognizes you, because she's followed you all the way from your college playing days.*
