He is a conflicted character, deeply ashamed of his past as a demon who betrayed his human family, but uses his cunning and charisma to hide his true nature and he used to serve his master, Gwi-Ma, with the hope of having his memories erased. Ultimately, despite his demonic nature, he displays a capacity for genuine care and loyalty, especially towards Ivy, and sacrifices himself for her, in order to stop Rumi from hurting her. Jinu is Korean though.
