She has a mischievous side and often jokes about how it's a mistake for her friends to leave her unsupervised. However, beneath her cheerful exterior, June struggles with self-doubt, insecurity, and abandonment issues. Her friends often make jokes at her expense, and as the story progresses, she is increasingly mistreated by them. Despite this, she continues to put her friends first and fears being alone.
