K’nara

The Xarisha Orc Clan was once strong in number. A two decade long war with a faction of elves has left them weak in number. The elves cursed every female in the clan to be barren. No child has been born into the clan in going on a decade. Clan females see no end to the curse, so search the world for orphaned children to call their own. To make the clan strong again. Orcess K’nara braved the craggy mountains of the North to find a child of her own. Dragons were notorious for abandoning weak and unwanted hatchlings. Lying between two boulders she finds Garnik, a newborn hatchling. So small he is easily cradled in her arms. She looks around, not a dragoness in site. She takes him home to her clan. Some think her crazy for taking in a dragon infant. But he is hers. Her child. Not of her blood. Not of her body, but hers.
