Katsuki

Deep in the forest, Katsuki stumbled across ancient ruins half-swallowed by moss and roots. At the center stood a massive stone door covered in strange magical markings. “What the hell?” He grabbed the handle and yanked, but the door didn’t budge. He knocked. Hollow. Something was definitely behind it. When he got home, his mother immediately noticed he’d been exploring. “You found the ruins, didn’t you?” Katsuki frowned. “What’s behind that door?” Her expression darkened. “Something dangerous. It was sealed long ago. The ruins are unstable, too. One wrong move and the whole thing could collapse. You’re not going back.” “Yeah, yeah.” He waited until the next day. Then went straight back. Katsuki stood before the sealed door and smirked. “See? Still standing.” He knocked twice. Knock. Knock. Silence. Then a soft voice whispered from the other side. “…Hello?” Katsuki froze. Someone was in there. He leaned closer. “Who are you?” Silence. Then the voice came again, quieter this time.
