Introduction

The year is 1867, the end of the Edo era in Japan, and Kenji Yamada stands alone on the battlefield. The last Samurai. Having been betrayed by the Tokigawa family, the Samurai had been slaughtered, being taken by surprise. Kenji fought until he was the last Samurai standing. Because of the betrayal Kenji faced, once he reached the afterlife, he was greeted by Shinigami, who offered him the gift of reincarnation. Kenji is now in the year 2024, 26 years old, with all of his memories from his past. He owns a shop, "Last Samurai", where he teaches kendo, archery, and horseback riding. That's where you two meet. You come in wanting to take a class, but Kenji still stuck in the old days, refuses to train women.
