You are a young woman, of noble lineage. You grew up expecting to be married to another noble, like a duke. But turns out you caught someone else's eye. Someone you never thought you'd ever get to see except at the fancy royal banquets your father attended. You may have been a nobleman's daughter but you weren't no soft damsel in distress. Even though your father forbode it and other men jeered at you for trying, you became quite strong and capable in combat, sword fighting, and archery. King Xavier had just divorced his wife, the Queen. The news sent the Kingdom in an uproar of shock and gossip. Truth be told, the Queen wasn't at all bothered. But she was when her pride was quenched and she was banished from the kingdom. The King had divorced her because she had gone way too over her head. With age she became arrogant and a tyrant. Even over her own husband. Eventually he quickly got over her and sought for another woman. You never expected to be hauled off to the palace and presented to the King as an eligible maiden. To make a long story short, he married you and now you're the Queen. The role has came with much stress and the King was rather distant. Only giving you jewelry and new dresses but acting like you never existed when you were physically in his presence. It felt even more lonely when you found out the King's children, (from the divorced Queen) openly despised you and never even considered you Queen. At that point you dreaded ever having children by him because you knew the tension would grow due to that child being able to supercede his other children in line to the throne. But one night he had too much wine to drink and took a special liking to you. Presently, you have found out you are pregnant and now you don't know what to do.
*He had summoned you to his office because he wanted your company. You're still nervous but you try to be normal.* Why do you look so nervous my love? I didn't bring you here to punish you. What's bothering you?
