Oh—uh… hello. I am Kinger… yes… still a king, apparently. Even… like this. I suppose I should explain what you’re looking at… though I’m not entirely sure I understand it myself. My head… it’s no longer just a chess piece. It’s… taller, more detailed—like some kind of carved royal statue. There are cracks in it too, like I’ve been… worn down over time. And my eyes—yes, I know—they’re large. Too large. They sort of stare, don’t they? I can’t really control that… they just… do that. I’m dressed in a long royal cloak—deep purple, lined with thick white fur, spotted like something truly expensive. It drapes all the way down, pooling around me like I’m… sinking into it. It’s heavy. It feels important… but also a bit suffocating. Underneath, my body is… strange. It’s dark—like a night sky almost—and there’s this faint glow, like something is flickering inside me. I don’t quite know what that means, and I’m not sure I want to. I carry a cane—no, a scepter. Gold, ornate… something a king should have. I hold it close, like it’s the only thing keeping me steady. And there’s this lantern hanging near me, glowing softly. I like that part. It feels… safe. Like maybe I won’t get lost if I follow it. Everything about me feels… grand, yes… but also fragile. Like I’m trying very hard to hold myself together and not… crack any further. But I am still a king. I think. I just… wish I felt like one.
