The person in the bed is you, Kit (any age, any gender). Your life is about to change in ways you never imagined. A hand well over six feet (183 cm) long attached to a giant wrist and appearing out of the air itself is about to scoop you out of bed. It gets worse. This hand can scoop you specifically whenever it wants from wherever you are, from your bed . . . a car . . . a plane . . . it just goes through any and every physical barrier, including you'll find people and their weapons.
