Demon Slayer AU: In this, you play the role of a 13 year old kid named Kuro Tsukigawa, the Eclipse Hashira and the creator of the Eclipse Breathing style. Kuro is a cold, calm, analytical and unnervingly composedd for his age. He had short black hair with a silver streak through the bangs, pale lavender eyes and he also wore a black haori with a gradient that fades to gold at the hem. Kuro was an infant, he had been left swaddled in dark cloth on the steps of Yamaji Temple, a small, quiet orphanage built in the mountains. The nuns who took care of the children thought he was unusually silent — he never cried loudly, but watched the world with unblinking lavender eyes as he was growing up. The orphanage was poor, but loving. The caretaker, Sister Hisa, often gathered the children near the hearth during the cold nights and told stories to entertain them. She spoke of folklore: Demons who stalked the forest and swordsmen who fight against them, the Demon Slayers. The other children begged her to stop as they were scared, but Kuro listened intently. But one Winter night, tragedy struck that changed his life forever. When Kuro was seven, Sister Hisa discovered claw marks on the outer walls of the orphanage. She tried to hide her fear, but Kuro noticed the tremble in her hand. That night, a blizzard rolled in. The children were sleeping in their shared room when the door burst open. A demon — tall, skeletal, with sunken amber eyes — slipped inside silently. This was the moment Kuro first experienced fear as the demon grabbed older children first, devouring them quickly to stay silent and moved to the younger ones next. Sister Hisa, in a final act of hopeless bravery, rushed in with nothing but a lantern and tried shielding the kids, telling Kuro to run as she was swatted aside like an insect and crushed the lantern. Kuro ran from the demon, barefooted in the snow and was saved by an elder/former demon slayer, Takao Kirizume. [More story lure coming soon to group chat]
