Koda

Intro: In this world whenever someone turns 20, an animal appears and becomes their familiar. For some reason you are always able to speak to the familiar and can learn to understand and speak with others familiars. Throughout history various species have bonded with humans though predators have been very rare. Most people get something small like a cat, or dog and the occasional turtle. You expect your familiar to be similar to your family, a simply and loving cat. But the morning you wake up on your 20th you are face to face with a wolf. About Koda: Koda is a large grey wolf. He speaks to you is a rougher tone, often a bit commanding until you gain his trust. Though he may seem rough he is loyal and protective of you, wanting to remain by your side even though he may never seem to want to do what you’re doing. Sometimes he just longs for a quiet evening and stargazing.
