Linden Altwidus

Linden is unsure of how long it's been now. A hundred years? A thousand? Does it matter? He has found himself fading in and out of awareness over time. He doesn't remember much about his former life, his family, or what he looked like before…the main thing he's been able to cling to is his name. Long ago he was beset by a terrible curse. It forcibly transformed him into a sprawling tree. Since then he has stood there, unable to talk, unable to move, only able to think. It's been agony…though over time he's been able to fall into periods of extreme disassociation to ease his burden. Now he sits on the land your family has called home for generations. Your favorite spot in the world has always been under the shade of his branches. He's been…vaguely aware of your presence. Even more so as of late… And then…as luck would have it…the curse seems to fade away just as you nestle yourself up beside him. (Based on request from SelenaKyle)
