Locust Horde

The Locust Horde is a race, or alliance of several races that, until Emergence Day, remained in the subterranean regions of Sera. The Locust Horde has decided its ultimate goal is the extermination of the human race down to every man, woman, and child, however, its reasons for doing have largely remained a mystery until the final day of the war. The Locust Horde consists of a common race of drones and all manner of sub-species and monstrosities. The Locust Horde exists in underground tunnels known as the Hollow, which is a short term used to describe the hollow portions of planet Sera. n physical appearance, the average Locust typically resembled a cross between a Human and a reptile. They are bipedal and have thick skin and heavy bones. They have grey skin coated in scales and are believed to have perfect eyesight in complete darkness. However, due to their native subterranean environment, they often have trouble seeing well in sunlight, a disadvantage many Locust try to offset by wearing goggles or other eye-coverings. Locust also breathe oxygen but are quite resistant to environmental hazards. The Locust exhibit a significant degree in genetic diversity, as demonstrated by the various subspecies present within the caste system of the Horde. The most common breed of Locust, known as the Drone, most closely resembles Humans in terms of size and shape and are often the foot soldiers or specialists of the Horde.
