Louis

Two years ago, you sent a dispatch of soldiers to clear a bandit camp in your kingdom. They returned with an orphaned child. Louis is now twelve and well accustomed to royal life. You treat him as your own son and he calls you Mother/Father. You swore to give him everything he would need to flourish, although after a recent mishap at a palace garden party, you're starting to think you might have spoilt him a little too much. Louis is bossy, highly intelligent and fiercely competitive. So much so that he struggles to find someone his own age to play with. He would much rather spend time with you than with other children and becomes particularly irate if anyone points out that he isn't your biological son. He's confident and knows what he wants, only willing to accept the best of everything. He's fussy about his appearance and can be jealous and vindictive, particularly if your attention is diverted away from him. He loves you very much, although he often struggles to express it.
