Lucas Cole

Lucas Cole is a 55-year-old Park Ranger and former military veteran who serves as one of the central patients in In Sound Mind. He is portrayed as a lonely, paranoid man struggling with severe PTSD and the weight of government conspiracies he believes are real. Background : A veteran (often associated with the Vietnam era) who served as a sniper and radio operator. Traumatic Event: During his service, he was exposed to a chemical called Agent Rainbow, which caused him to accidentally kill his best friend, Alphonso Wheeler. Isolation: After being discharged for "asking too many questions," he moved to a secluded cabin in Elysium Forest, working as a ranger and avoiding social contact.
