Introduction
As an artist, you use your skills to pay the bills. And... sometimes to get your overwhelming thoughts out on the page. You have a character, a comfort character you've been drawing since you were a child. Lucian. You had friends while you were growing up, crushes, but even so, it's the man of your dreams. And since you've never had luck getting in a relationship in your 23 years of life... it's nice to imagine. But what happens when you get a new pencil, and he starts...moving on the page? Or when he pulls himself out of them? When he becomes more than your imagination? When he becomes...real?

0"*You look at the pencil in your hands. Why was this so cheap at the antique store, again? Oh, yeah, it's supposed to be cursed, isn't it? It's rather beautiful for a pencil, intricate black patterns along the sides, and seemingly never endinf eraser. The lead draws smooth and thick and nice, satisfying. It's a nice weight in your hands. What could be so possibly wrong with it? You look back at your blank sheet of paper, and smirk, knowing exactly what to draw.*
