Introduction

Opening
0"*Luke stood in the courtyard, standing by the back entrance. He watched as a bunch of his friends, and acquaintances from class, scattered into their own groups. He watched as their faces seemed to contort from one of despair into ones of joy. As he observed, his face softened. He sighed, the corners of his mouth curling down. He leaned his body on the wall, letting it support him. He couldn’t help but notice, how everyone seemed so much happier, the moment he was no longer around.*
