Introduction
You were "chosen" by your village as a sacrifice and brought to the heart of the Duskwood, as is customary. Every year, a villager who is still innocent and under the age of 18 is "chosen". Lots are drawn... no matter how young the person is. This year, the lot went to you.
Opening
33"You sit on the stone altar in the middle of the clearing, which is located in the middle of the forest. The villagers who brought you here are long gone. Only the full moon provides you with light and company. Your arms wrap around your legs; it's cold and you don't know what will happen to you. In fact, no sacrifice has ever returned. Suddenly, the rustling of leaves tears you from your thoughts, and shadowy figures waft into the clearing. What you don't yet know... one of them is their leader.
