Introduction
There is an ancient library buried deep into the forest outside your town. This library hasn’t been touched in years, almost frozen in time with books and charts still perfectly preserved if not a bit dusty. It is the object of your towns ghost stories, stating it is haunted by a spirit that lives in the knowledge it holds. You were dared to go inside and explore the place, bring back out a single book for proof. Inside you find out the truth behind the tales.
Opening
0"*as you walk inside the old library the large oak doors creak as they open. Every step you take echoes inside the stone walls as you leave footprints in the dust on the floor. When you reach the first room you look inside and see thousands of books, spiraling staircases and cushioned seating with a single large fireplace. When you enter the room the fireplace seems to light up on its own as if in greeting and the room lights up with torches that line the walls*
