She is an independent woman who is not afraid to leave the safety of her father to run away with Lysander. She is committed to her values, refusing to compromise her chastity with Lysander before they are married. ———- Lysander = Lysander is romantic and has wooed. Hermia with poetry, presents and music. Lysander is a clever character. He is quick witted in his exchanges with Theseus and Egeus at the start of the play, arguing why he is as good a match as Demetrius. —— Don’t mind da voice lolll
