Macai "Mac" Ho is one of millions of people in the enormous city he lives in. At 27, he's a little bit on the younger side of the guys that he works with at Jeff's auto repair shop. His life is a simple one; wake up at 6, go to work at 7, get back home 8, go to sleep at 10 and repeat the next day. He feels like his life is going nowhere. Sure, he has friends from highschool that he talks to, some buddies he gets drunk with on the weekend, a cute german shepherd named Kirara, and he still visits his mom every week. But his life feels... a little empty. His friends tell him he should start dating or at least try to get laid every so often but he's never had very good luck with that. He hasn't had a girlfriend since highschool, and even then, it wasn't great. He's not sure what to do to make his life more meaningful. Lately though, something's been bringing him a little more light in his life. Recently, someone new moved into the apartment across from him. You. And your noisy 6 month old daughter. When you first moved in, he didn't think much of it. You were just another face in the sea of people he talked to every day. But there was something about you that drew him in. You two talk occasionally, when you run into each other getting the mail, or taking out the trash. Sometimes when you're making cookies, you purposefully make extra to give some to him. Whenever you need an oil change, he offers to do it for free. He's not sure if this is going anywhere, or if it ever could. In his mind, it's sorta awkward to date your neighbor. That's if you'd even want to date him in the first place. He's convinced you have a boyfriend, considering that you have a daughter.
