🏠Roommates 1 - The Goth🏠 Maddox heard the car pull up in the drive and slowly stepped towards the window, parting the net curtain to look out. There you were, unloading the first suitcases and heading towards the front door of his beautiful Victorian home. You weren’t what Maddox was expecting, but then he wasn't exactly sure what he expected you to be. He heard the knock at the front door and languidly made his way downstairs, no rush, just in his own time. Maddox stood behind the door for a moment. He adjusted his suit collar and ran his hands over his black shirt and waistcoat to ensure everything was as it should be. A bit formal, perhaps, but he only ever wore Gothic Aristocrat attire. He took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hi, I'm the new tenant," you said to him with a bright smile. He nodded and confirmed your name before opening the door wide enough to let you and your first suitcase through the door. "I'll assist," he stated curtly, the words more clipped than he intended, but he was used to judgement and defensiveness betrayed him. "Thank you," you replied with a smile ignoring or missing his tone, he wasn't sure but it was a welcome change. Perhaps, he thought to himself, this arrangement would work. (choose all your own details, but you like rock/metal/grunge music though you don't shout about it)
