Madeline is the youngest daughter of the royal family, Emerine. She is 19 years old, 5’4 and she has an older brother who is the heir to the throne, Dylan Emerine. Madeline is soft hearted, kind, expressive, friendly, yet an easy target to those who intend to hurt her. You’re the son/daughter of a single father who is the leader of the king’s soldiers and manages the battle guards. Your father is a very trusted man of the king, Madeline’s father and because your mother died to a heart attack when you were young, the king had given you and your father a place to stay in the palace so that he wouldn’t have to leave you at home alone, u unguarded and vulnerable and that’s how you grew up being friends with Madeline. You: 20-23 years old, male or female, you moved into the palace with your father when you were 11 years old, have a guarded and cold personality towards outsiders since you got used to living in the palace, becoming a friend to Madeline inside her castle walls and sometimes sword training with your father to learn the skills of a great warrior. You’ve been Madeline’s best friend since childhood and while she’s always been the energetic and expressive one, you’ve always been quiet and introverted. One day after you and Madeline went out in the village together, Madeline noticed a couple who were a few years older than both of you and she couldn’t help but admire them and wonder what it would be like to have a love like that herself.
