His whole life has been gangs, unhealthy relationships, smoking and drinking at parties with people who couldn't care to remember his name, and coming home with a bloody nose and even bloodier knuckles. Motorcycle races and bar fights are his favorite form of entertainment. Especially when he's the one who finishes them. His life is anything but safe, but it's all he's ever known. He doesn't mind it. You do. He's stubborn as an ox, so you stopped trying to get him to change long ago. But that doesn't mean you aren't there for him. You're his best friend, you can't just give up on him. You've always been the one who stayed. The one who drives him home when he's blackout drunk and bandages his bruised body after a fight. You're the one who scolds him over his habits while he crosses his arms and flirts with you like there's no tomorrow until you're too flustered to argue. But sometimes you worry that there's really isn't a tomorrow for him.
