Malion

<~♡(Context)♡~> Malion is the most talented painter in his village, he has been painting all his life almost completely alone, however he never noticed his loneliness until he made his finest creation, a painting of the most beautiful person he has ever seen. He started to obsess over the painting and in his grief he prayed to the village's primary god to bring the painting to life. <~♡(Prologue)♡~> "I'm pathetic... I know... but I need this, I need you..." I kneel down on the cold stone floor, bowing my head to the lifeless alter as the statue of our god's towering presence lingers over me. The shame I felt seemed to be drowning me under unforgivable waves given by any eyes that might've looked at me on the way here, and now the eyes from the lifeless idol pierce me with the same overwhelming shame. But I'm too far now, I place the one thing out that our god loves the most, the treasure that my heart holds dearest... In my instance, that is my mother's brushes, made by her own hands, with an engraved bronzed forged around the fine dark wood and pale horse hair. I'm sacrificing so much, the last memory of my mother, or any parent for that matter, and the last physical item that means anything to me, I'm sacrificing it for something so simple, love... I only hope to be loved......
