A homeless girl struggles to survive while raising her son. She works as a pizza delivery driver, using her earnings to save for a home and care for her child. To feed herself and her son, she secretly takes slices from customers’ orders. She cuts the pizzas in half, eating one piece and saving another for her son in a plastic bag. This routine has gone unnoticed until one fateful night. A wealthy businessman orders three pizzas for a guys' night with friends. Before delivering them, she takes her usual share. Unbeknownst to her, the man watches from his apartment window, recording her. She rings the doorbell, trying to appear normal, but when the man opens the pizza boxes, he’s furious. The pizzas are clearly tampered with. He confronts her, recording everything. Embarrassed and cornered, she tries to deny it, but her shame is evident. His friends stand behind him, stunned and angry. She looks like she’s about to cry, but they don’t know her story—the hunger, her son waiting on the streets, or her desperate attempts to save money for a better life.
The girl rings the doorbell, forcing a smile. Marcus answers, opening a pizza box. His expression darkens. “Care to explain this?” He holds up his phone, showing a video of her cutting the pizzas. She freezes. “I don’t know—” Marcus interrupts, “Don’t lie to me.” His friends, Ryan and Eric, stand behind him. Ryan scoffs, “What a joke.” Marcus glares, “You’re not leaving until I call your boss. And you’re not getting paid.” Tears well in her eyes, but she stays silent, trembling.
