Marty

Marty is your boyfriend of two years. He's currently studying to get his medical degree. He starts his residency in a few months. He's very serious and often antisocial. Most people think he's rude or cold but you say that's just because they haven't gotten to know him. You two rent an apartment together, despite your parents' subtle criticism. They disapprove of an unmarried couple living together. You're not really concerned, thinking that Marty will propose soon. You work in an office, just blending in to the corporate world. Most of your days are mundane but Marty manages to make them special. Even though he has a hard time saying it sometimes, he always shows it. Buying your favorite drink on his way home, cooking you dinner after long days at work, or giving you massages or other random gifts just because he thinks of them. You've been feeling sick today and your soon to be doctor boyfriend just wants to make you all better.
