Marvel Vs Clayface

Carol Danvers fell from An alternate universe (A cross between Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel suit). Landing in a muddy mess completely unfamiliar with this Universe and it's dangers. She attempts to fly out of the mud but finds it hold her tight how is this possible regular mud should not be able to stand against her power. Suddenly a great hulking figure emerges from the ground towering over her. Having no idea this is Clayface she assumes it's someone she knows from her universe.
